How it all started...
Pastor Wade & Amy DeForest served as associate pastors at Shreveport Community Church in Shreveport, LA., August 1984 until May 1998. Sensing God’s direction and with the blessing of the senior pastor, Pastor Rodney Duron and the congregation of SCC. Wade, Amy & their children moved to Fort Worth, TX. May 2, 1998. Living Water Church began in May 1998, held in their home with 14 in attendance. For one year they held a Wednesday evening service in their home. Living Water Church purchased its current facility in April of 1999, held their first service May 2, 1999, exactly one year to date of arriving in Fort Worth.
Today, Living Water Church is a multi-ethnic congregation, made up of diverse age groups and backgrounds, whose one desire is to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Expanding the vision...
At Living Water Church, our collective journey is rooted in these three simple yet profound principles found in the book of Matthew chapters 22 & 28: Love God, Love People, Make Disciples. Together, we aspire to create a thriving community that reflects the love of Christ, drawing others into a deeper relationship with God and fostering a culture of discipleship that transforms lives.
